There is something built inside that tells me to keep chasing after more, more, more and more.
At times, I have to say to myself, am I ever going to be satisfied? The honest answer would be NO. The more I accomplish, the more I want to accomplish. The more progress I see, the more progress I desire to see. There is something inside that just will not quit. Most would agree that there is NO issue with this at all.
However, there are times when I have to check that thing inside of me “the core” that is never satisfied. Here are a few questions that I ask myself to check:
1-Am I chasing what God has ordained for me?
2-Am I chasing something because it works/worked for someone else?
3-Is what I am chasing going to benefit the Body of Christ?
4-Am I chasing this because there are no visible challenges?
5-Will the thing that I am chasing ever slow down for me to catch it?
These are just a few questions that I ask myself very often. Each time I ask myself, I have different answers. I don’t have the hand book on the right chase, or even what you should be chasing.
I do know that checking myself every now and then helps me to keep my motives in the right place.
