Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Wow, it’s Wednesday! How is you journal progressing? I hope you are finding it as insightful as I am. Here is your journal meditation for today.

Day 3: Psalm 100:4  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Thanksgiving leads to praise, and praise leads us into worship, and worship brings us into God’s presence. Thinking on the goodness of God and thanking Him just because of who he is, is the foundation of praise and the beginning of worship.  When was the last time that you thanked God, not for possessions or what He has done, but simply just for Him and the privilege of knowing Him? Let a heart full of thanksgiving and acknowledgement of who God is fuel your praise and draw you in to an enhanced worship experience.
