Phil-4-8
As I stated yesterday, we would further the discussion on bringing yourself in order by discussing management of our mind/thoughts, our words, the company we keep, and our surroundings.
Today we will discuss management of our mind/thoughts. I believe outside of the tongue, our mind and the thoughts we produce is the second most untamable member in our body.

Philippians 4:8 ESV

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Can you honestly say that Philippians 4:8 is your true mindset all day- everyday? It is so easy to be negative in your thinking, the issue is that your mind is the production pad of your soul. Your mind makes up the majority of your soul component, which says if your mind isn’t whole and holy, your soul isn’t either. This is why Jesus gave us the instructions in Philippians on what to think about. The words in itself are very simple, but to implement those words into your daily thought life will take some serious management skills.

Today I want to challenge you to manage your thought life by using the instructions of Philippians 4:8. You’ll notice IMMEDIATE change in your attitude, speech, outlook and most of all your daily results.

You can not be a successful Christian with undiscplined thoughts, start now bridling the energy of your mind and controlling your every thought. Before you know it you’ll become that perfect seed for God, that will sprout into a harvest for many to feed on and be saved….
