Hello guys, I pray this has been a fruitful and productive week. We have been discussing “It’s Only Temporary” all week and I hope it has been beneficial for you.

So we’ve talked about how trouble and triumph both are only temporary, neither last forever, and they both are spaces of lessons. Even more-so our journey on the earth is only temporary as well. We won’t be here always, we we’re never suppose to treat life as permanent fixture. We are journeying through this life, ONLY to make it to the next life- a more heavenly life!

Hebrews 11:13 – 16 says

13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Just as our forefathers of the Faith, we should treat our earthly experience as a pilgrimage to our heavenly experience. We should have our treasures laid up in heaven where moth not dust doth corrupt. See, this is the only kind of consciounessnes a Christian can have, if they desire to have real Peace on Earth. They are unbothered because they understand that these wars and rumors of wars, pestilence and famine, lust and perverseness is ONLY temporary.

Have you been so caught up in your earthly experience that you forgot you were just a visitor down here? Ask God to forgive you of your idolatry and refocus yourself on what matters. Heaven is our real home, earth is just our practice.
