I’ve been in church all my life. I have experience good church, bad church, and not so great church. Being that I didn’t come off of the streets, church is in me, I often wonder — what if we have it all wrong???
What if we were never suppose to hoard as many people as we can into one building? What if we were suppose to send as many people as we can out of the building into the world to change it?
Here is the honest truth, if you don’t ask yourself these type of questions periodically chances are you’ve grown to comfortable in your relationship with God. See, those who are still hungry after God are constantly inquiring of Him.
1 Samuel 22:10
“He inquired of the LORD for him, gave him provisions, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.”
There is provision in inquiry! When you stop asking questions – when you stop questioning your motives before God, then you are more apt to miss instructions, new revelations, are shifts that is NEEDED to take place.
Today I want to challenge you to inquire of the Lord, seek him, lay it all on the altar and be open to what he says next.
