As believers, our whole lives are governed by our purpose. The decisions and choices we make should all come out of the will of God for our lives. As a marketplace minister, we understand that our jobs and careers are a part of God’s plan for us and that we must use our positions in the marketplace and on our jobs to bring change and Godly influence to the systems of this world. In order to do this we must have a clear understanding of what God wants us to do and where God wants us to be placed. Everything might not be super clear at this point in your life, but you should have an idea, a dream, and goals in mind. Knowing the direction you are heading in allows you to create your future.
Think it. Keep your dream in your mind. Think about it often, after all, the goals that you have set are so that the ultimate dream can be accomplished. Recognize and acknowledge the events in your life that have pushed you closer to your dream. Keep your thoughts positive. Think about what it will take for you to achieve your dream. Think about how you can inspire others once you are living your dream. Success has a lot to do with your mindset and attitude. What you think about often becomes the driving force behind your actions.
Speak it. As a believer, you understand the power of words. Speak words that confirm your purpose. Use your words to affirm who you are according to the will of God for your life. Use your words to speak life into your dreams. Speak it until there is no doubt in your mind that you can achieve your dream. Use your words to create an atmosphere of positivity and success in your surroundings.
Do it. Put your thoughts, and your words into action. Success doesn’t just happen, but it is something we have to go after. Faith without works is dead. You believe in the purpose that God has revealed to you, now it’s time to act on it. Put your goals into action. Make a commitment to dedicate some time each day to work on self- development and the progression of your dreams. You can make it happen!
